OSCU's digital infrastructure is continuing to develop behind the scenes. Our website evolves as we work on new methods of dissemination for the OSCU Weekly. And soon we will have an all new Publishing platform to unveil.

In the meantime, Utrecht University has unveiled its new Open Access Policy 2026-2030. The policy makes new space for initiatives like our own, with goals to:

"Have substantially stronger academic community control over publishing and the direction in which it develops.

Ensure that essential publishing infrastructure is governed by communities or organisations under the jurisdiction of EU countries."
